Carrefour Richard J. Conway - Crossroads PFC Conway.




Le 25 âoût 2002, le carrefour où est érigé le monument, a été baptisé du nom d'un combattant du 180ème régiment d'infanterie qui y trouva une fin glorieuse le 4 oct. 1944. La plaque fut dévoilée par le maire de la commune et Monsieur David A. Schwartz de Tampa FL, vétéran de la 45ème division qui combattit dans la région.

On august 25 . 2002, the crossroads where the monument is located was named "crossroads PFC Richard J. Conway" This man was killed in heoric action at this place on 4 oct. 1944. The sign was disclosed by the honorable Mayor of the village and a WW2 veteran whose name was David A Schwartz living at this time at Tampa FL.
